The Panhandle Amateur Radio Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion and enjoyment of the Amateur Radio hobby. Our mission includes education, fellowship with other panhandle operators, emergency preparedness and public service.
Our club is affiliated with the American Radio Relay League, Inc. — ARRL. Many of our members participate in the many exciting contesting opportunities sponsored by ARRL and other special interest groups. Amateur radio offers activities for any interest from CW to voice to digital — the possibilities are endless!
The Panhandle ARC meets the first Saturday of each month at 9:30 a.m. at 1900 Line Ave, Amarillo, TX, 79102. We cordially invite you to attend our meetings and join our club!
Our mailing address is:
PO Box 10221, Amarillo, TX 79116
Testing for licensing is offered after every regular club meeting. Testing is free and is offered through Laurel VEC. Please see our “About” page for more information.
From Georgia Street, turn east on Plains (the first street south of the old railroad bed). Plains will then become Line Avenue. Look for the antennas 🙂
hello this is kf5wfx Marcus and I am having trouble finding the link to join the club so I can get my nodes listed as the slots are getting full please call me at 5759643642 or e mail some info please thank you Marcus Hodge
Hi Marcus – Sorry, just saw this – our club does not coordinate the slots … if you are still looking for info Cory KD5ROK would be your best bet. He’s usually very easy to contact on the PARC Slack channel.
You guys did a great job with Route 66. Your signal was strong into South Florida and i had no trouble at all making a SSB contact early into the contest. Thank you for your helping me make a clean sweep!
