Contact John Laur K5IT for current testing information.  Tests are usually offered after each monthly meeting.  Testing is offered through Laurel VEC.

The ARRL offers online study materials.  Many other websites/hams offer study guides for any license level and can be found on the internet or YouTube.  Order ARRL study guides through ARRL or Amazon.

  1. Hello, I plan to visit Caprock Canyon SP for backpacking and was wondering if I would be about to hit any repeaters with my HT? (FT3DR).



    1. Hey, Shawn – as far as I know, the closest repeater to Caprock Canyon SP is Wayside, and everyone up here thinks it’s probably too far for you to hit it from the park. Check out the Plainview TX listings.
