Once again this year, we were privileged to participate in Lamar Elementary School’s annual Science Fair. We were just one of many fun and educational activities available for the students to experience: we had a fun time demonstrating morse code and keyers, energy transfer, shortwave radio, fox-hunting and real radio contacts for kindergarten up to 5th graders.

If you would like to be part of this fun educational outreach next year, register as a volunteer for A.I.S.D. and develop a short 10 minute ham radio related presentation geared to K-5 students.
